How to Order? - To order a product click on 'Shop' and you will be presented with a list of 5 types of Cookies (Chocolate Chip, Raspberry, Chocolate & Orange, Stem Ginger & Coconut Cookies). Click on 'Add To Basket' for the relevant Cookie and you will be then be shown your Shopping Basket. Please note that you can only purchase boxes of Cookies in multiples of 5. At this stage you can click on 'Checkout' to complete your purchase or you can click on 'Continue Shopping' to purchase other types of Cookies. When you click on 'Checkout' you have two options :

(1) If you have previously registered or bought Cookies on this site enter your Username and Password in to the boxes provided.

(2) Click on the link 'Please click here if you are a new Customer...'. and you will be asked to fill out your personal details.

Choose the option most relevant to you. When either option is completed you will then see your purchase details. If everything is in order click on 'Make Payment'. You will then be asked to fill out your Credit Card Details and when you have done this click on 'Make Payment'. Your order will then be completed if your Credit Card has been authorised .

When will my order be despatched? - Your order will be despatched to you within 24 hours.

Can I be sure online payments with Sun Start Bakery are secure? - Yes, we use the Worldpay payment system for online payments. The Worldpay organisation is a global company which specialises in taking secure payments on the internet. They provide highly secure systems for validating credit card details and clearing payment though major bank systems. The latest SSL encryption and security validation techniques are used for all online payments. The system is endorsed by NatWest bank.

What is encryption? - Many encryption techniques were developed for the military. It provides a secure way of transmitting data, which cannot be easily understood by an unauthorised source. On the internet, the transmitted data is effectively scrambled and can only be de-scrambled with a valid key. Encryption is a very complex subject to explain in basic terms here. There are many articles to be found on the internet or from other sources. A good start is to search on encryption +ssl at www.google.co.uk.

What is SSL? - The term SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a protocol for transmitting data in a secure manner across the internet. It was orginally developed by Netscape and later adopted by Microsoft, and is supported by most major browsers. It uses a combination of a digital certificate, private and public keys to encrypt and de-encrypt data at a point-to-point connection. An SSL connection is initiated via https:// prefix in your browser. An SSL connection can only be established with a valid digital certificate. You will notice a delay, as the secure keys are established and the connection is made.

Are my credit card details stored on Sun Start Bakery's server? - No. At the time of placing your order, you will be passed to the Worldpay secure server, where you will enter your credit card details. This is a highly secure system dedicated to online payments. Once your card is validated, then you will be passed back to our web server. Your credit card details are never stored on our server. During the online payment, we never have access to your card details. We simply receive a response from Worldpay as to whether the card is authorised or unauthorised.

Refunds - Refunds will be given at the discretion of company management.

Shipping Rates - Delivery is provided free of charge. Please click here to view delivery times. Please note for delivery times that weekends are not counted as transit days and it takes 24 hrs to process the order. Also, individual boxes are posted by the US postal service, therefore expect at least 5 days for delivery.
